Dog Daycare
Our Day Care facility runs Monday to Friday and offers a social space for your dog to exercise, learn new fun things and generally hang out.
We open at 7am where the dogs meet and greet each other in a controlled environment; we ask that your dog is in before 10am and there are no collections 2pm so that disruption throughout the day is kept to a minimum.
All dogs have a period of rest during the day, where they get to lounge on their beds and re-energise for the afternoons session. During the afternoon they are back out with the pack and enjoy more social time before going home by 6pm when usually they can sleep and dream the night away about all their big adventures!
Assessment Day
If you are a new customer of ours, we ask that you bring your pup in for an initial Assessment Day. An Assessment Day is crucial to ensure our doggy daycare and overnight boarding are the right environment for you and your dog. It allows us to get to know your dog’s unique personality and determine a playgroup best suited to your pet. We have several designated areas for dogs based on a range of important factors including age, temperament, size, and energy levels so your pup is in their element and feels safe throughout their stay.
Throughout our Assessment Day, we closely analyze the behaviour of your canine as we introduce them into a group under strict staff supervision. We ensure that your pet feels confident, comfortable, and settled under our care before confirming overnight boarding bookings.

Dog Boarding
A typical day in our boarding doggy kennel begins with breakfast, each dog fed individually within their kennel. We feed high-quality Black Hawk biscuits. We understand some pets may have health and diet requirements and ensure these needs are met. Please advise our reception of any ‘own food’ and ‘medical’ specific needs and requirements upon booking so we are aware of your pet’s needs and cater to them accordingly.
Dogs are then led out from their kennels and mixed in their social groups with like- minded playmates for the morning until they return to their kennel for rest in the middle of the day.
The afternoon allows plenty of time for more play before bed when dinner is served. Access to fresh water is available at all times.
Non-Mixer Information:
At PAWss we fully understand how being the owner of a “tricky to mix” dog has implications when needing to board or access our various services.
We want all dogs to have as great of an experience as any, socially challenged or not, so we have created a “non – mixer” area which is specifically designed to enable plenty of human/dog company and interactions plus outside areas where the dog can have time to themselves and be kept safe.
Staff are designated to work these areas and to structure/rotate dogs/take them for short walks all of which comes at a cost.
Prices may vary depending on the challenges of the individual dog and be assessed by management on a case by case basis. New dogs registering with us that may be socially challenged MUST come in for an assessment with us prior to any boarding or daycare.

AM pick up (Within the times listed) at no extra charge. PM pick up (Within the times listed) – the daycare rate of $33.00 is applied per dog. Any out of hour collections will incur a $25 added fee. An entire dog daily surcharge is applicable for dogs from 10 months of age still not desexed – additional $10 per day.
During our High Season which runs from the 18th December to the 10th January, high season surcharges apply. Please note we can accommodate your pet for any length of stay through this period but a minimum of 7-day charge will apply. Public holiday surcharges apply.

Cat Boarding
Our two beautiful large Catteries are an open, spacious, and calming area for your cat to relax and enjoy. It is a communal area that offers fresh air and sunshine. Lined with multiple litter trays that are cleaned daily and multiple, cosy bedding options all for your cat’s choosing.
We feed Black Hawk and have wet food options for our cattery guests. If your cat has dietary or health requirements, please advise and bring any food/medication along with you upon dropping your cat off for boarding. Let us know if your cat requires their own space, this can be accommodated.
